Blu Ventures began in 2010 as a group of former operators who believed early-stage founders deserved more than capital - they deserved partners who had lived the challenges of building and scaling technology companies. What started as a hands-on angel group quickly grew into a community of CEOs, technologists, and industry leaders united by a shared commitment to helping founders succeed.

 

Over the years, Blu evolved from its angel-group roots into a venture firm operating through a dedicated fund model - bringing greater discipline, stronger support for founders, and a more institutional experience for investors. Blu earned a reputation for deep domain expertise in cybersecurity and enterprise technology, a disciplined evaluation framework, and a founder-first approach grounded in real operating experience. 

 

Now operating a suite of cybersecurity-focused funds, Blu manages outside investor capital with the same operator DNA that has defined us from the beginning. What hasn’t changed is our conviction that early-stage innovation is where we can have the greatest impact.
