Josh Miller is Senior Vice President at Blu Venture Investors, focused on identifying, analyzing, and supporting early-stage cybersecurity founders across BVI’s thesis areas. He is part of the Cyber Fund Investment Committee and works across sourcing, technical and commercial diligence, and portfolio support.

Before Blu Ventures, Josh was a research manager at the Brookings Institution and previously served several years on Capitol Hill - experience that informs a pragmatic view of market timing, policy vectors, national security, enterprise/government buyers. He earned his MBA at Georgetown University, where he began with Blu as a Venture Fellow.

 

Josh contributes to Blu’s thought leadership, co-authoring pieces on the firm’s 5Ts framework and crisis playbooks for founders. He has also led the growth and development of BVI’s flagship conference, the Cyber Venture Forum, to over 400 attendees.
